Our Story

Growing up together on the UK’s heritage coast of Suffolk, founders Georgie and Lizzie have been best friends for 40 years. Lizzie spending much of her childhood on the East Coast of Scotland, and Georgie on the beautiful beaches of Suffolk, it was eventually their shared love of the Mediterranean way of living that set in motion the Ebb + Flow collection, with Lizzie now having her permanent home in the Balearics with her partner and young son and Georgie spending every summer there with her family too.

With island life providing the beach as a back garden, and never being more than a few kilometres away from the coast, Lizzie has spent many years living a life by the water and experiencing all of the joy that comes with it.

The Balearics are like a home from home for Georgie. Having five children, the youngest having just turned four, she loves the familiarity, peace and freedom her time spent there provides.
